Let’s explore how to start a blog even when you don’t know how to write! Blogging can be exciting and very rewarding. Not only does it allow you to express yourself and share your thoughts with the world, but it can also help you connect with like-minded individuals who share your interests. Blogging can also be a great way to improve your writing skills and gain valuable experience in creating content for an online audience.

One of the greatest things about blogging is the freedom it gives you to cover any topic you want. Whether you’re interested in cooking, fashion, travel, or politics, there’s always something to write about. You can also experiment with different styles and formats, such as listicles, how-to guides, product reviews, and personal essays.
However, the key to successful blogging is consistency. It’s important to establish a regular publishing schedule and stick to it as it can take time to get traction. You should also actively engage with your audience by responding to comments, sharing your posts on social media, and collaborating with other bloggers in your niche.
Why to start a blog even if you think you aren’t a good writer
When starting a blog there is a lot to learn and it can take time to get really good as SEO, designing and writing! Just because you might not be as experienced as someone who has been blogging for years doesn’t have to stop you from creating a blog.
People go to Google or other platforms for solutions or ideas.
If you have that solution or idea that someone is looking for then they most likely won’t mind if your written language isn’t quite as refined as a seasoned blogger. Think of it like this, if someone wants to know can they plant a lemon tree in the shade, and you have the experience to answer that question then you have solved their problem.
Another example is if someone is looking for fun costume ideas for Christmas and you share multiply images that inspire them plus add in links to the products. (Which by the way could be affiliate links so you could earn from a sale). You’ve now helped your reader find a solution to what they were looking for.
There will be people out there who want to read a certain style and like myself enjoy reading some blogs and not others but I wouldn’t let that stop you from starting!
Use tools to help you!
Now this is where I’m going to get in to the nitty gritty of how to start a blog and learn as you go.
Utilize AI! AI has become incredible popular whether it’s from ChatGPT or AI Auto blogging software.
I’m going to go over multiply tools you can use to help you write your ideas and thoughts down.
First up is JetPack AI Assistant. Initially you can have 20 free prompts then there is a monthly recurring fee. The best thing about this tool is it integrates directly in the WordPress Gutenberg editor. It has many options to expand on a short sentence that you have written also change tone, summarize and more.
ChatGPT, you can use ChatGPT for free, sometimes the content may come across like it hasn’t been written by a human but there are many prompts to try to improve the tone.
Canva, yes Canva has an AI writer! Within Canva, you can define your writing style but also within a ‘Document’ you can like JetPack write a sentence and ask it to expand on it, re-write and more.
If you are looking for full articles to be written for you then you can look in to AI writers. Some people may disagree with using AI writers but if you want to learn about a subject while building your blog they can be a great way of learning about your topic as you build a blog. Be sure to read through and edit if there are incorrect information or it’s not quite to your writing style.
When using AI writers unless you know the subject well it would be best to stick with topics that aren’t in the financial or medical niches. You want to avoid putting out incorrect information that could harm someone.

As you can see blogging doesn’t have to be so daunting to start. Keeping to a schedule to keep momentum could see you building a successful blog.
